Named for the line
every manuscript
has to cross.
A meridian is a fixed line of longitude — the same line, wherever you draw it. We started Meridian Press in 2019 because we thought every author deserved to cross into print by the same line: real editorial work, honest production, and full ownership of what they wrote.
Self-publishing shouldn't mean publishing alone.
Too many self-publishing platforms are print vendors wearing a publisher's name — upload a file, get a barcode, good luck. We built Meridian the other way round: start with an editor who reads the whole book, and let the technology handle the parts that don't need a human — ISBN registration, retailer feeds, royalty math.
That means slower onboarding than some platforms. It also means every book that leaves Meridian has had someone else's eyes on every page.
The people who
read before anyone
else does.

Rahul Bhatnagar
